2015 Honda Activa i
The
Activa sub brand has given Honda a stature which in a competitive
market like India is very hard to achieve. The scooter, with its
simplicity and benchmarks in refinement and build quality, has garnered a
stupendous reputation in the last fifteen years. To cash in the
benefits of the hegemony of Activa in the scooter segment, Honda
launched a simpler and sleeker version of the Activa, Activa i.
The Activa i was the second product under the ‘Activa’ umbrella. Sharing its basic poweertrain and chassis with the bigger Activa (now Activa 3G), the Activa i boasted of a slimmer and feminine design and was positioned below the standard Activa as Honda’s most affordable scooter for the Indian two wheeler market.
It was the Activa i which helped the Activa sub brand to become the largest selling two wheeler of India, by contributing to the overall sales of Activa sub brand, along with the Activa 110 and Activa 125. Though in the perspective of individuality, the Activa i has received a rather lukewarm response when compared to other scooters of Honda.
Honda though understands the importance of Activa i in its portfolio, which is why it has relaunched the scooter with minimal upgrades. Following is a description of what all changes does the new Activa i fed with.

After commencing its streak of success with its scooter duo of Activa and Dio, Honda
expanded its scooter portfolio for the Indian two wheeler market by
introducing its full size 110cc scooter, Aviator. Targeted at a more
niche audience, the Honda Aviator opened up an all new segment of
premium 110cc scooters, which was totally absent before its advent.
The Honda Aviator is credited for introducing many features which were completely unavailable in any of the scooters at the time of its launch. The list of such features includes alloy wheels, front disc brake and telescopic front suspension, which were usually seen only on motorcycles before its arrival here in the Indian market.
Riding highly on the stupendous success of Activa, Honda actually forgot to pay some attention to the Aviator, which is why after so many years, the scooter has received its first proper update. The new Aviator is the third scooter which has been updated by Honda in the year 2015, following the Activa 3G and Dio. Here’s a quick look on what all updates did the new Aviator received.

In the event of keeping its promise of launching 15 new products for the ongoing year 2015, Honda
has lifted off the covers from the refreshed avatars of its most
affordable 110cc scooter, Activa i, as well as its most expensive 110cc
scooter, Aviator. The changes on both the new Activa i and Aviator are
purely limited to cosmetic changes, with both the scooters retaining
their HET-empowered single cylinder, air cooled, 109.2cc engines from
their respective previous versions.
To start with, the Activa i now comes in two variants – Standard and Deluxe. The Standard comes with minimal but snazzy decals on the side panels of the scooter, while on the Deluxe variant, these sharp decals are replaced by a more girly floral graphics. The instrument console of the scooter is also revised with new graphics. The Standard variant is offered in Black, Pearl Amazing White, Autumn Beige Metallic and Alpha Red Metallic, whereas the Deluxe variant is launched in Pearl Amazing White and Orchid Purple Metallic. To add in further more exclusivity, the Pearl Amazing White option of the Deluxe variant comes with purple colored inner body panels. Honda has priced the Activa i at Rs. 46,213 for the Standard variant and 46, 703 for the Deluxe variant.
On the other hand, the more premium Aviator now comes with brown colored inner body panels and seat, while retaining the salient features of its predecessors, the list of which includes premium 3-D emblem, front telescopic suspension, alloy wheels and front disc brake. Like the Activa i, the Aviator too receives a new garnished instrument console. Apart from retaining the color options of Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam White, Pearl Ingenious Black, the Aviator now also comes with Silver Strand Metallic. The new Aviator will set you back by Rs. 50,863 for the Standard variant, and 56,209 for the Deluxe variant (both prices Ex-showroom, Delhi).
