Suzuki Releases More Pictures of the Baleno
We've already told you about the Suzuki Baleno and that the car will make its debut on September 15. Well, Suzuki has revealed a couple of more images of the car and here they are. Based on the iK-2 Concept which made its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Suzuki has played it safe when it comes to design in the production model
Suzuki mentions it's a compact model and the dimensions of the car probably won't change. The concept was 4023mm long, 1920mm wide, 1450mm tall and came with a 2520mm wheelbase. However, it is the interior that Suzuki says, will be spacious. From what we can see in the pictures, the Baleno comes with Daylight Running LEDs along with projector headlamps and this adds a bit of character to the car.

In fact we can take their word for it considering that the S-Cross delivered what it promised. Under the hood will be a 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET direct-injection turbocharged gasoline engine which Suzuki says is a newly developed unit which will offer enough power and great fuel efficiency. Adding to all that, Suzuki also mentions that the lightweight body will enable the model to deliver dynamic performance levels.

The car will also come with new system called Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) incorporating an integrated starter generator to assist the engine, which we will first see in the Ciaz in India.
The Baleno will be launched in India by October and expect Maruti Suzuki to price it competitively.
