Honda has had a very conservative approach in the 150cc segments with the Unicorn and its derivatives. Though all these versions of Unicorn were adequately pumped up with required horsepower, they all lacked the zeal which the enthusiasts were craving from a Honda motorcycle.
Honda tried to meet all the demands by launching a performance oriented motorcycle in the premium end of the 150cc segment with the CBR 150R. The motorcycle was launched on the lines of the higher positioned CBR 250R, sharing the overall design language and several components.
The CBR 150R was no short in performance and flexibility required in an entry level mini supersport motorcycle. However, the motorcycle was launched against the stupendous Yamaha YZF R15, which has already set up high standards in performance and dynamics in the 150cc segment. The CBR 150R tried to match up those benchmarks, though Honda tried to better its attempts by introducing a couple of improvements on the CBR 150R. Here’s a quick look on the improved version of the Honda CBR 150R.
