There
was a time when the performance biking in the budget segment was
limited to only a couple of naked streetfighters like the Hero Honda CBZ
and Bajaj Pulsar 150/180. Then came the Hero Honda Karizma, which not
only offered a much bigger quarter liter engine, but also a big bike
feel, thanks to its semi-fairing on offer. This particular trait of
semi-fairing made the enthusiasts fell in love with the Karizma, and as a
result, other manufacturers too began to follow the path of offering
semi-faired motorcycles at an affordable price.
In came the 2015,
and the sub- 1 lakh segment is swarming up with semi-faired motorcycle
ranging from 125cc to 200cc in the same space. Here’ we take a look on
all these motorcycles, which raise the bars of style quotient with a
semi-fairing at their front.
