#Lumia950XL #Wind0ws10 – Microsoft Lumia 950 XL now starts shipping : The
Microsoft Lumia 950 XL has been out for pre-order since last week;
those who have pre-ordered the new Lumia smart phone will finally get
their hands on the units soon.
GSM Arena has reported that
those who have pre-ordered the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL would most likely
receive the shipping email advisory. However, those who plan to order
the smart phone might not be so lucky as the units seem to be out of
stock.

The Microsoft Store has the Lumia 950 XL listed
as “Coming Soon,” according to GSM Arena, and the button to buy it has
been replaced with an “Email Me When Available” button. The listed price
is at $649 and the colors available are black and white.
Available is the Microsoft Lumia 950,
which costs $599 and might be a good alternative for those who have not
bought or decided yet. Both phones sell as unlocked from the Microsoft
Store, though the Lumia 950 can also be bought with a contract for as
low as $19.97 per month with a 2-year contract with AT&T.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL comes with
the Snapdragon 810 processor, 32 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM. It
can be expanded to a large 200 GB storage with micro SD. It sports a 5.7
inch WQHD AMOLED display. Its rear camera is 20 MP while the front
camera is 5MP with wide angle.
The main feature of the Microsoft 950 XL
is its OS, which is the Windows 10 mobile. Windows 10, though, is still
largely untested in comparison to Android and iOs. One of the
challenges with Windows 10 mobile is app support, as majority of apps
made would be for Android or iOs. The number of Android phones out is
daunting in itself, which could be used by Microsoft for good effect, as
it could market the Lumia 950 XL as an alternative
